Stayed at a fancy place with old stuff. Walked a lot, but worth it, Ortygia Island was cool. Saw some creepy catacombs. Had my own entrance. Trains to Taormina closeby. Had TV to entertain myself.

So sad, no negatives! It was all perfect and I had nothing to complain about.

Staff are affable.

Magnificent and perfect location close to cafes and supermarkets, the coast, and the old town, with plenty of cafes and supermarkets nearby, everything perfect. Totally recommend.

The location of the hotel is ideal, situated in a calm area and close to both the archeological park and the city center. the rooms are comfortable with great amenities such as a nice shower and comfortable beds. the service provided by the hostess was excellent, with easy parking availability and helpful recommendations for nearby breakfast options. the owner was also responsive to any issues that arose, promptly fixing them.

The internet connection in the hotel was slow and often unreliable.

The staff were wonderfully helpful and enthusiatic and could not have done more to assist,The property was recently renovated and beautifully kept.It was an easy walk to Ortygia and many other sites.

The area is a bit of a mix and presently many parts are being gentrified.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decor of the apartment at Kyanos Residence. The vintage furniture and tasteful artwork created a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a senior like me. The general areas of the residence were also well-maintained and clean, making it easy for me to navigate and move around. , the hotel's accessibility features, such as ramps and well-lit hallways, were greatly appreciated and made my stay comfortable and convenient.

It would have been even better if there were more organized activities or events specifically catered towards seniors. It would have been lovely to have some social opportunities to meet and interact with other guests of my age group.

It is a new Residence near to the Ortigia. Only 6 apartaments. Well equiped apartament and clean. The owner, Valeria, is a very helpful person, she speaks English very well. Thanks to her we saw some pretty nice places and had a chance to go to very nice beach. We enjoyed our stay very much.

It was pretty hard to find, since there is no sign from the street but Valeria was so kind to pick us up from the city and showed us the way.

location is best possible and quiet for syracuse, really close to city center. staff are friendly and supportive, know what the customer wants.

The Staff at the Kyanos could not have been more helpful. Simple, functional and very clean accommodation. Little hard to find, but in very good location. Excellent value. Full range of facilities including washing machine, proper coffee maker etc., Happy to recommend. By the way Syracusa (Ortigia) and surrounding area including beach at Fontane Blanche are fantastic. I must say, our stay at Kyanos Residence was absolutely worth every penny. The value for money was exceptional, and the room itself was delightful with its charming design and comfortable amenities. The location was also perfect, just a short walk from the center but still pleasantly quiet. The staff, especially Roberta and Valeria, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, from the warm welcome to their constant availability for any queries or assistance we needed.

The morning meal could have been improved with more variety.

It was a spacious, high-ceilinged, well air-conditioned and attractive apartment. Valeria and her cousin were really helpful with picking us up at the bus station and giving us information on local restaurants etc and on transport arrangements for our expeditions (although do also ask bus drivers etc too as it's virtually impossible to get accurate transport information and we found it was best to ask as many people as possible and be flexible!) The safe in the flat was useful for passports etc, and the tea and coffee etc were a really useful bonus - and the wine and fruit were a nice touch! We found the location very good - within walking distance (even in a heat wave!) of Ortigia, of a swimming place, and of the archaeological park and museum and catacombs north of the city centre. I would recommend the flat and would go back - I'm not sure it would be worth paying more to be in Ortigia itself.

I think if you really wanted to self-cater, the few pots and pans, knives and the two-ring stove (with one of the rings a bit lukewarm) might not be up to full-scale cooking and might be a bit frustrating. But for making tea and coffee and having salads etc from the fridge it was fine.

In the center of Syracusa, Staff was very helpfull in directing us to shops and restaurants. Appartment where we stayed was very good, comfortable and clean.

No lift available. Only one set of keys available which were also used to activate the power supply to the appartment. Better to have to sets. But in all we liked the appartment vey much and were happy with our stay there.
